NiMet Forecasts Hazy Weather Nationwide from Monday to Wednesday

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted hazy weather conditions across the country from Monday through Wednesday.
In its weather outlook released on Friday in Abuja, NiMet forecasted moderate dust haze with horizontal visibility ranging from 2km to 5km during the forecast period.
The northern region is expected to experience slight dust haze, with improved visibility. However, on Wednesday, moderate dust haze will return to the region, reducing horizontal visibility to between 2km and 5km.
NiMet also projected slight dust haze in the North Central region, with good visibility, while the inland cities of the South are expected to experience cloud patches in a hazy atmosphere.
The agency has urged the public to take necessary precautions due to the suspended dust particles in the air. NiMet specifically advised individuals with respiratory conditions, such as asthma, to exercise caution given the prevailing weather conditions.
