WAEC Introduces Resit Examinations for Candidates

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced the introduction of resit examinations for candidates who wish to retake their West African Senior Secondary Examinations (WASSCE) papers.
WAEC’s Head of Public Affairs, John Kapi, confirmed this development in a statement to newsmen on Friday. Kapi explained that the resit exams will be available as early as January and February 2025.
Additionally, Kapi clarified that students whose results have been cancelled will also be eligible to sit for the WASSCE PC1 exams, as long as they have not been banned for malpractice.
